Our number one challenge was the short initial onboarding —so much so that users didn’t know what the app offered. They missed out on receiving personalized recommendations, exploring all the cool features or even how to use the app.

To immerse myself in the project, I first held a meeting with to learn about our client’s vision for her brand, goals, and how success will measured before the initial launch.

Here we defined that success will be measured by increased user satisfaction, higher task completion rates, and improved app usability scores.

I leveraged the beta version of the app to conduct individual heuristic evaluations with the team.

To further validate our findings, I closely monitored a group of first-time users who assumed the role of Learners on the app.
